On 10/02/2016, Deputies observed a vehicle traveling through the community of Pixley. An inquiry revealed that the license plates on the vehicle belonged to a different vehicle. Deputies attempted to conduct a traffic stop on the vehicle however it did not stop.

After committing multiple traffic violations in attempt to evade Law Enforcement, the vehicle lost control and veered into an open dirt field.  No injuries were sustained by any of the occupants.

All three subjects in the vehicle exited and ran away. The driver was immediately captured and taken into custody. A K-9 unit and H40 from the California Highway Patrol responded and assisted with capturing the outstanding suspect(s). The car was found to be a stolen vehicle out of Delano. Shaved keys were also located on the driver.
