On 2/26/2014, personnel from the Tulare County Sheriff’s Department and Tule Indian Reservation Department of Public Safety (DPS) have continued efforts to find the whereabouts and apprehend suspect Larry Garfield Jr. (23 years).

Assault with deadly weapon LOCATION:  Reservation          DATE:  2/25/2014          TIME:  2115 hours  CASE NUMBER:  14-02497         VICTIM:  Sgt. Hieden, Dep. McLean, Officer Vizcano          On 2/25/2014 – at 2115 hours, the above suspect created a disturbance and fired shots from a rife near his residence.  The suspect then fired shots at responding deputies which initiated a SWAT call out.  The suspect fled the area on foot and is still at large.
