**UPDATE**
SUSPECT: Miguel Angel Felix MH/ 18yrs IN CUSTODY
On 04/26/15 at approx. 2355 hours Deputies from the Tulare County Sheriff’s Department, Orosi Substation were dispatched to the 5300 blk of Ave 392 in regards to a shooting with multiple victims. The preliminary investigation revealed that there was a large party at that location when several people arrived at that party who were not welcome and asked to leave. As these persons were leaving in two vehicles several shots were fired from the vehicles into the crowd of party goers. Three persons were struck by the bullets and sustained non-life threatening injuries where the victims were treated and released from various local hospitals.
The investigation was turned over to the North County Gang Violence Suppression Unit. The ensuing investigation after numerous interviews and follow up investigation developed leads and suspects in this case that led to a search warrant in the 1600 Blk of E. Parkway in Dinuba. The suspect Miguel Felix, a known “Northern” gang member and convicted felon, was contacted at this residence. Evidence, a firearm, linking Felix to the shooting was located. The Gang Unit served additional search warrants in the 1300 Blk of E. Park Way and 1000 Blk of Golden Way as well.
Felix was taken into custody without incident and booked at the Tulare County APTF on the listed charges.
The case is currently under investigation by the Tulare County Sheriff’s Department’s Gang Violence Suppression Unit and no other information is being released at this time.
