Members of the Sheriff's County Apprehension Team Tracking Criminals in Hiding (CATTCH) arrested Jesus Raul Aguilar, 29, on suspicion of attempted murder at 1830 hours on April 12, 2016. He surrendered without incident.

His charges include attempted murder, assault with a deadly weapon, street terrorism and DUI charges.

On 3-21-16 at approximately 0400 hours, Deputies from the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office responded to a local area hospital in regards to an assault. Deputies contacted the victim and determined the incident occurred in the 90 Block of South Reservation Road in Porterville. The victim had sustained major trauma to the upper torso and was airlifted to another local area hospital for treatment.  

Detectives with the Tulare County Sheriff's Violent Crimes Unit responded to the scene and took over the investigation. This case remains under investigation anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Clower or Sergeant Torres at (559) 733-6218.
