Update: Cause of Death Released in Cutler Murder, Public's Help Needed to Find Killer

On Tuesday, June 11, 2019, the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office completed an autopsy on 41-year-old Gilberto Serna of Cutler and determined the cause of death to be a single gunshot wound to the upper torso. 

Serna was shot to death on June 5, 2019 in the 12900 Block of Sierra Ave in Cutler. He was working in his front yard at the time of the shooting. Detectives continue to work around the clock to identify Serna's killer, but have received few clues. Detectives believe the suspects were possibly driving a silver-colored sedan and drove off shortly after the shooting.
