With help from the public and local media, the Coroner's Office has located the daughter of Helen Spencer and she has been notified of her mother's death.

On June 14, 2018, Deputies were dispatched to the 100 block of North Harvard Street, in Lindsay for an apparent natural death. The investigation revealed that Helen Spencer had not been seen or heard from for approximately a week and her mail in her mailbox had not been collected for the same time period.

The Lindsay Police Department was contacted and responded to the address discovering Ms. Spencer deceased in her residence. During the investigation, there was no evidence of trauma or foul play and her death is being considered as natural at this time. 

The Tulare County Sheriff's Office Coroner Division is currently searching for any living relatives of Ms. Spencer.
