On January 12, 2017 at 0820 hours, Violent Crime Detectives with the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office with the assistance of the United States Marshall Service located and arrested Theoatis Reed for the murder of Travis Bradshaw. Reed was located in Helena, Arkansas, where he was arrested and booked at a local county jail pending extradition back to Tulare County. 

Reed is the person responsible in the shooting death of Travis Bradshaw which occurred in Goshen on December 24, 2016. During the initial investigation, Violent Crimes Detectives identified Reed as the person responsible for the shooting and developed information indicating he had fled to Helena, Arkansas. The 2-week investigation culminated with today’s arrest. 
 
Tulare County Sheriff’s Office Violent Crimes Detectives are currently in Arkansas continuing the investigation.  black Male Adult, Height 6’ 0”, 175 lbs. Brown Eyes, Black Hair

On 12-29-2016, an autopsy was conducted on the victim and the cause of death was determined to be from a single gunshot wound to the upper torso and head.

               Black Male Adult, Height 6’ 0”, 175 lbs. Brown Eyes, Black Hair

On 12-24-2016 at 0033 hours, TCSO Dispatch received several calls of a shooting inside a residence on the 30900 block Road 71, in Goshen. Deputies arrived within minutes to discover the victim, Travis Bradshaw, already deceased from multiple gunshots. 

The suspect had fled the scene. Sheriff's Detectives began an investigation. Witnesses present during the shooting identified the suspect as Theoatis “Theo” Reed.  Reed is considered armed and dangerous.
