The Tulare County Sheriff's Office seeks the public's help for information to identify who is responsible for his death.

On May 11 2018, Detectives from the Violent Crimes Unit began a homicide investigation, after a male was found deceased in an orchard, in the area of Oakmore/Cartmill in Tulare.

Investigators have identified the victim as being Tariq Alsumiri, 25 years of age and a resident of Woodlake.  On Tuesday, May 15, 2018, the Tulare County Sheriff's Office completed an autopsy on the victim, Tariq Alsumiri, and determined the cause of death to be multiple gunshot wounds to the upper torso.
