On 9/01/17 at approximately 1213 hours Deputies responded to the area of Avenue 24, west of Highway 43, regarding a man down. Upon arrival Deputies located the victim and life saving measures were attempted by Deputies and EMS personnel, but were unsuccessful. At 1303 hours the victim was pronounced deceased at the scene. The victim was found to have suffered multiple gunshot wounds. This case is actively being investigated by the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office, Violent Crimes Unit.
