Location: Through an on-going investigation, detectives with the Tulare County Sheriff’s Department arrested two brothers in connection with the homicide of Nelso Martinez. They have been identified as Daniel West 22 years and Anthony West 21 years. On 8-18-14, personnel arrested Daniel West for his participation in the homicide. Daniel was currently in custody at the main jail on unrelated charges at the time of this arrest. On 8-19-14, detectives served a search warrant upon the brothers’ residence in the 14500 block of R192 Poplar, Ca. During the service of the warrant, Anthony West was arrested for his involvement of the homicide. Both brothers are being held in custody with the sheriff’s department for the charges of homicide, conspiracy and criminal street gang activity with bail for each set at $1,000,000.00 Detectives of the Tulare County Sheriff’s Department, Violent Crimes Unit, upon further investigation served searched warrants and subsequently arrested two suspects in connection with the homicide of Nelso Martinez.
