**Update**

The victim’s wife (age 25) witnessed the assault and attempted to intervene.  She received a stab wound to the hand and was treated at KDDH and released.

On 1/31/2015 at 2330 hours Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a report of a stabbing victim on Alta Dr. in Cutler.  Deputies located a male victim that had been stabbed multiple times and was unconscious.  A female victim suffered a single stab wound to the hand and she directed deputies to the suspect who was still hiding at the scene.  The suspect was arrested without further incident.  The male victim was transported by ambulance to KDDH where he succumbed to his injuries and died.
