UPDATE: The man told deputies he’d swam to a remote shore and spent the night there. He is in good condition. 

ORIGINAL RELEASE:

Around 9:30 p.m. Sunday, TCSO deputies were called to Kaweah Lake East of Horse Creek Campground.

A woman told deputies that she’d been jet skiing with a man she’d recently met, when the jet ski flipped over and she couldn’t find him. So she swam back to shore looking for help. 

When deputies searched the area, they found the man’s Black Ford F-150 parked in a paid parking lot at Slick Rock. Two hours later, Deputies found the jet ski, but there was no sign of the missing man. 

The CHP Helicopter searched the area last night and the TCSO plane, as well as personnel and the Dive Team, are on scene right now looking for the man. 

He was last seen wearing a Blue & White tank top, Blue & white shorts  and a Blue Life Jacket.
