Suspect: Antonio Rodriguez (20 year old, Resident of Earlimart
Tulare County Sheriff’s Office Violent Crimes Unit completed a 2-month investigation into the shooting death of David Rodriguez, a resident of Earlimart, who was murdered on 6/5/16. During the course of the investigation, Detectives identified Antonio Rodriguez as the suspect responsible for his murder.
Homicide Detectives with assistance from the Tulare County Sheriff's Office Apprehension Unit (CATTCH Team) located the suspect in the Earlimart Area where he was taken into custody without incident at noon on 8/25/16. The suspect was later booked at the Tulare County Adult Pre-Trial Facility.

Victim: David Rodriguez, 22 years old resident of Earlimart
On 6-7-16 Tulare County Sheriff’s Department completed an autopsy and identified the victim as being David Rodriguez, resident of Earlimart. The official cause of death is listed as exsanguination due to a penetrating gunshot wound.

Victim: 21 year old Male, Resident of Earlimart
On 6-5-16, Deputies from Tulare County Sheriff’s Office responded to Delano Regional Medical Center in regards to an assault victim being treated at the hospital. Deputies arrived on scene and contacted the reporting party who found the 21-year-old male victim in the 13000 Block of Howard Road in Earlimart. The victim had sustained trauma to his upper torso which resulted in his death. How the victim sustained the injuries is undetermined and an autopsy is pending. Detectives with the Tulare County Sheriff Department Violent Crimes Unit responded to the scene and took over the investigation.
