On 11/28/13 Detectives from the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office Violent Crimes Unit responded to the 500 block of S. Elm St in Earlimart, regarding a gunshot wound victim who had succumbed to his injuries at the scene. During the investigation Detectives identified a suspect as Arnulfo Galaviz Montano. On 2/28/14 at 1725 hrs, Deputies from the Pixley Substation were investigating a theft report in the area of Rd 144 and Ave 48 in Earlimart. During the investigation Deputies contacted Arnulfo Galaviz Montano and he was taken into custody regarding the above homicide investigation. Arnulfo Montano was subsequently booked into the Tulare County Main Jail without incident. The case is currently under investigation by the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office Violent Crimes Unit.
