UPDATE: Many thanks to the public for helping locate relatives of Ralph Smith. His next of kin has been notified of his passing by our Coroner's Office.

On August 21, Ralph Smith was killed in a car accident near Mooney and Orchard in Visalia. TCSO Detectives were searching for his relatives.

The Tulare County Sheriff's Office sends its deepest condolences to all of those who knew and loved Mr. Smith.

On August 22, 2018 Tulare County Sheriff's Deputies were called to Kaweah Delta Medical Center in Visalia in regards to a deceased person. During the investigation, Deputies learned the decedent, Ralph Smith, was involved in a car accident the day before in the area of Mooney Blvd and Orchard Ave in the City of Visalia. Mr. Smith sustained life-threatening injuries during the accident and was taken to the Kaweah Delta for treatment, where died due to his injuries.

The Tulare County Coroner’s Office is  searching for any relatives of Mr. Smith. Anyone with information is encouraged to call Detective Webb or Sgt.
