On 5-10-16, Tulare County Sheriff’s Department Violent Crimes Detectives were able to positively identify the victim in this case as a Hispanic male juvenile, 17 years of age out of the Lindsay area.

On 5-10-16, an autopsy was conducted on the victim in this case and the cause of death was determined to be multiple perforating/penetrating gunshot wounds to the head and chest.

On Saturday, May 7, 2016 at approximately 2044 hours, the Tulare County Sheriff's Office, along with Tulare County Fire Department, were dispatched to the area of 22400 Avenue 248, Lindsay for a reported vehicle fire.  Upon arrival, Fire personnel extinguished the vehicle fire.  

The body of an unknown decedent was located outside of the vehicle.  The cause of death is unknown at this time and the identity of the decedent is unknown.  An autopsy is pending at this time to determine the cause of death.
