Victim/ Decedent: 

Caucasian  Male Adult  35 to 45 years old 5’09 to 6’00  195 to 210 lbs.  Brown Eyes  Lt. Brn to Blonde Hair Wearing black long sleeve t-shirt, black jeans. 

 

On 04-02-14 at 1730hrs the Tulare County Sheriff Department received a 911 call of a man down, possibly deceased in the area of Rd 220 and Ave 337 in the unincorporated area of Woodlake. Upon deputies arrival they located a Caucasian male subject deceased in a grove in the listed area. 

The Sheriff’s Departments Violent Crimes Unit was called to take over the investigation. The ensuing investigation revealed an unidentified deceased male was located by citizens walking in the area and found him to be unresponsive and contacted the sheriff’s department. There are no obvious signs of trauma or foul play and the death is being treated as suspicious at this time.

The cause of death is pending an autopsy by the Tulare County Sheriff’s Department Coroner Division, as well as the identity of the decedent. The case remains under investigation and no other information is being released at this time.
