On 06-14-2017, at approximately 1900 hours, deputies responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle in an orchard, near the 8400 block of Avenue 256, in Tulare. Deputies arrived on scene and contacted a male subject, identified as Justin Giacomi.

Upon investigation, deputies located footprints leading from Giacomi’s vehicle to a truck parked nearby, that had been entered and vandalized in the course of what appeared to be an attempted theft. The total damages amounted to $1,500. Giacomi was arrested on a felony warrant as well as P.C. 594(b)1, felony vandalism.

This case is currently awaiting review by the District Attorney’s Office.
