Visalia Mom, Sister & Boyfriend Busted with Drugs, Sawed-Off Rifle & Babies Inside the Home

On 02-07-19 at 8 a.m., Detectives with the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office TAGNET (Tulare Area Gang and Narcotic Enforcement Team) and TAGNET Majors served a Narcotics Search Warrant at a home in the 100 block of NE 1st Street, Visalia.  During the Search Warrant, Detectives saw 47-year-old Roger Jenkins Lee trying to throw away evidence. While at the home, Detectives also found two babies.  

Detectives conducted a search and found a small amount of methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, scales, and other items associated with drug sales. Detectives also found a Marijuana plant and sawed-off rifle with a homemade silencer and a large capacity Magazine. 

Detectives arrested Lee, 31-year-old Marta Medrano Leon and 49-year-old Maria Medrano at the home. Marta and Maria are sisters, and Marta is the mother of both babies. All three suspects are charged with:

Child Endangerment, Possession of a Silencer, Possession of a Large Capacity Magazine, Possession of a controlled substance, Possession of Paraphernalia, Maintaining a Residence for Narcotic Use, Attempt to Destroy Evidence, Felon in Possession of a Firearm, Felon in Possession of Ammunition.
