On August 12, 2016, Sequoia National Park Rangers and Tulare County Sheriff’s deputies conducted an interdiction stop on vehicle suspected of involvement in an illegal marijuana grow in the Three Rivers Area. During the stop, the driver, identified as Jose Jacobo, 21, of Visalia was found to have (2) outstanding felony warrants and was driving without a driver’s license. Jacobo was arrested at the scene and later transported to Adult Pre-Trial Facility where he was booked without incident. The vehicle was towed from the scene and the passenger was released after being identified.
