Warrant service, Possession of methamphetamine

On 01-17-2017, the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office County Apprehension Team Tracking Criminals in Hiding (CATTCH) developed information that a subject on the Sheriff’s Top 10 Most Wanted Criminals in Hiding list, Melinda Journey, was currently in the Farmersville area.  

Journey was wanted on (5) warrants for theft, identity theft, and various narcotic related offenses. The combined bail of the outstanding warrants was $136,000.  CATTCH detectives subsequently located Journey. During the course of the arrest, Journey was found to be in possession methamphetamine.

She was booked at the Adult Pre-trial Facility for her arrest warrants and an additional fresh charge of possession of methamphetamine.
