The Tulare County Library provides Learning Express, an online database designed to assist in career building skills and educational goals. When you log into the Learning Center, you will find it offers the practice tests, exercises, skill-building courses, eBooks, and information you need to achieve the results you want—at school, at work, or in life.
Learning Express offers testing materials on a variety of topics. If you are looking to jump into another profession, or going back to school, there are a host of test prep and vocational study guides to help you. GED tests are broken down by section. You can take a practice test and see how you did and get suggestions or download e-books on how to improve your score. There are also tests to make assessments on your current skills. Business and resume writing, as well as WorkKeys preparation, are all available.
Some of the more popular aspects of Learning Express are the Occupational Practice tests. These are formal tests to become a firefighter, policeman, joining the military, or to become a postal worker. Along with the practice test, there are popular e-book guides to the test, all available for free.
