Tulare County complies with all Federal and State leave laws including State Paid Family Leave. Leave of Absences are covered under various laws and labor agreements and may be either paid, or unpaid. Employees may be entitled to these leaves under the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), the California Family Rights Act (CFRA), Pregnancy Disability Leave (PDL), the California Family Military Leave Act, Healthy Workplace Act or other leave provisions within the employee's labor agreement.
