TCSO Deputy Named Officer of the Year at Porterville Exchange Club

Sheriff Mike Boudreaux presented  TCSO Deputy Raymond Vigil Officer of the Year, on May 19, 2021, during the Porterville Exchange Club’s 60th annual Public Safety Recognition Dinner at Nuckols Ranch.


“I think it’s the best time to be in law enforcement because you have the best of the best holding their heads high doing a job that no one else will do,” Sheriff Boudreaux said. 


Deputy Vigil was hired at the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office in 2017 and is currently assigned to patrol out of the Porterville Substation. 


Deputy Vigil thanked Sheriff Boudreaux and the Porterville Exchange Club for this honor.


“I’ll try to do my best to uphold it,” he said. “Thank you very much.”
