On 05092014 deputies recceived a report of a burglary at a shop owned by Daniel Miller of Cal Agro Farms.  Taken was a DeWalt pressure washer, Dewalt table saw, a John Deere riding lawn mower and a Kawasaki Mule ATV.  Total Value was estimated at $14,500.

During the following investigation, deputies located a truck,  just south of the crime scene, that had fallen into a deep canal.  The truck contained the base plate from the stolen John Deere mower, but no actual mower was present.  The registered owner of the truck was identified as Matthew Baas of Visalia.  Evidence at the scene appeard to suggest that the suspects had loaded property from the stuck truck and taken it to another location.

In the meantime Lt.Rob Moore drove by the registered owner's address in Visalia, and saw a red pickup with a small trailer leaving the residence.  The trailer contained a John Deere riding mower. Inside the pickup was a DeWalt table saw. (later found to belong to the victim.)

Two suspects were interviewed in connection with the crime, and all the proerty was recovered.
