On 5-25-2018 / 1704hrs deputies responded to an address in the 2100 block of W. Pratt, Visalia for a reported in progress burglary. Upon arrival deputies searched the home with the assistance of a K9 for the suspect. During the search a suspect was located. The suspect failed to comply with orders to surrender to deputies and the K9 was deployed. During the K9 deployment the suspect struck the K9 several times, the K9 was not injured. The suspect was taken into custody for burglary and battery upon a law enforcement service animal. The suspect was booked into the Adult Pre-Trial facility.

SUSPECT: Peter Cline 68 years old from Lindsay.
