All renewals will be processed as new filings. It is the responsibility of the business owner to determine whether publication will be required (Business and Professions Code § 17917). A Fictitious Business Name Statement expires five years from the date it is filed in the County Clerk's Office. You may renew your fictitious business name in person or by mail.
Any changes to the way the business is being conducted, such as the physical address of the business or registrant, business name, or registrant names, will require publishing in the newspaper.
