Once your application is complete, please call us at (559) 636-5051 during the business hours listed below to schedule an appointment. Appointments are scheduled in person Tuesday through Thursday between 8:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m.
This service is available for the registration of any person or entity who, for compensation, makes more than 10 serves within the state during a calendar year.
For New Registrations, a Live Scan must be completed prior to completing your application.
Registrants must complete an application prior to visiting our office. If registering as a corporation or partnership, at least two partners or corporate officers must be present to sign at the time of registration. When renewing a lapsed registration, the process server must resubmit current Live Scan fingerprints.
The registrant must appear in person and meet the following requirements:
Possess a valid government issued picture identification, established by a driver’s license or passport.
The principal place of business or residential address must be in Tulare County.
Present a bond in the amount of $2,000 naming the registrant as principal, providing the term of the bond, two (2) years, commencement date, and expiration date.
Pursuant to Business and Profession Code §22350, the registrant, or if corporation or partnership, all partners or corporate officers will be required to submit a completed Live Scan Application. Upon verification from the Department of Justice, the permanent identification card will be issued.
This service is available for the registration of any person or entity who provides, for compensation, any self-help service for members of the public who are representing themselves in a legal matter.
Legal document assistant registration is required in each county where services are performed.

We ask that customers complete an application prior to visiting our office. If registering a corporation or partnership, at least two partners or corporate officers must be present to sign at the time of registration. Only one partner or corporate officer must submit supporting educational documentation. Identification cards issued in the name of the partnership/corporation will not contain a photo. Employees must individually qualify and file separate individual registrations. Employee identification cards will not be issued.
The registrant must appear in person and meet the following requirements:

Present a bond in the amount of $25,000 naming the registrant as principal, providing the term of the bond, two years, commencement date, and expiration date.
Present supporting educational documentation as required in Business and Profession Codes § 6400, 6402 & 6408.
This service is available for the registration of any person or entity who, for compensation, renders assistance or advice for members of the public who are representing themselves in an unlawful detainer matter. Unlawful detainer registration is required in each county where the services are performed.

Only one partner or corporate officer must submit their supporting educational documentation. Identification cards issued in the name of the partnership/corporation will not contain a photo. This service is available for the registration of any person or entity who, for compensation, obtains or reproduces documents authorized to be produced pursuant to Business and Professions Code 22450.
In-person service only, customers must complete an application prior to visiting our office. If registering as a corporation or partnership, at least two partners or corporate officers must be present to sign at the time of registration. The registrant, or one partner or corporate officer, must be a valid commissioned Notary Public registered in Tulare County. If your commission is used to qualify and register as a professional photocopier and you are not the applicant, written verification is necessary. An application for a professional photocopier must include a signature and be executed under penalty of perjury.
The registrant must appear in person and meet the following requirements:
Possess a valid government issued picture identification, established by a birth certificate, driver’s license, or passport
The principal place of business or residential address must be located in Tulare County.
Present a bond in the amount of $5,000 naming the registrant as principal, providing the term of the bond, two (2) years, commencement date, and expiration date.
Pursuant to Business and Profession Code § 22450, the registrant, must hold a current Notary Public commission from the California Secretary of State. If registering as a corporation or partnership, only one partner or corporate officer must hold a current Notary Public commission from the California Secretary of State.
