The Tulare County Assessor/Clerk-Recorder's public service counters will reopen Monday, June 1. Out of concern for the safety of Tulare County staff and the general public, the Assessor/Clerk Recorder urges the use of the public counters on an emergency basis. If conducting business in person at the public service counters is essential, the Assessor/Clerk-Recorder recommends the continued practice of social distancing and wearing of masks or facial coverings.

Due to social distancing measures, wait times are expected to increase for the Clerk/Record's public service counters. For this reason a limited number of persons will be allowed into the building and only Tulare County Residence will be served. In order to keep wait times to a minimum, the Clerk/Recorder requests that all appropriate forms are completed before visiting the public service counter. These forms can be found on this website. The patience and understanding of the general public is greatly appreciated.

The offices of the Assessor/Clerk-Recorder are located at the County Civic Center, 221 S. Mooney Blvd., Visalia. The Assessor's public counters will be open from 8am-5pm Monday-Friday and closed on the weekends and holidays. The Clerk/Rcorder's public counters will be open from 8am-3pm Monday-Friday and closed on the weekends and holidays.
