Dry Creek Road Closed Due to Fire

Around 6 a.m. on 8/10/23, Fire Personnel received reports of fire in the 40100 block of Dry Creek Drive. Fire personnel and aircraft quickly started firefighting missions, while local ranchers gathered their cattle and moved them to safety. The fires have burned a couple hundred acres, burning into unoccupied range land. At this time, no structures or livestock are threatened. CAL Fire worked in the Badger area and Deputies are patrolled as well. Dry Creek Road, from Lomitas Drive to Stage Coach Drive in Badger was closed to through traffic.

Please avoid the Dry Creek area at this time.
