Fugitive turned herself in: Possession of stolen property, felon in possession of ammunition

On 4-28-16, the Tulare County Sheriff’s County Apprehension Team Tracking Criminals in Hiding (CATTCH) developed information that a subject on the Sheriff’s Top 10 Most Wanted Criminals in Hiding list, Jennifer Watkins, was staying the Strathmore or Porterville area.

Deputies and Detectives responded to several locations over the following week and were able to track her to a location in Porterville.  Watkins was not apprehended at that time as it was learned she was willing to turn herself in rather than face physical arrest.

On 5-11-2016, Watkins followed through with her intent and turned herself in to the Tulare County Superior Court in Porterville.  The warrants were served and she has been removed from the Tulare County’s Top Ten Most Wanted Criminals in Hiding list.
