Top Ten Fugitive CAPTURED SAME DAY He's Added to the List

On 3/6/19, Detectives with the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office added Raymond Hernandez Jr. to the Tulare County Sheriff’s Department "Top 10 Most Wanted" list. Hernandez had an outstanding felony warrant for an attempted homicide stabbing while he was in custody in Tulare County.

CATTCH Detectives quickly learned where Hernandez might be and began surveillance at an apartment complex in the City of Visalia. During the surveillance, Detectives saw Hernandez leave an apartment and detained him without incident, JUST A FEW HOURS AFTER he was added to the Top Ten List.

Detectives then searched the apartment and found a loaded handgun and a small amount of meth. The handgun was found to be stolen out of Nevada and was within access of two children inside the room. Hernandez was booked into jail on the Attempted Homicide Warrant Charge, as well as fresh charges of Felon in possession of a stolen firearm, child endangerment and possession of a controlled substance.
