Two Top 10 Fugitives CAPTURED

 

Two of the Sheriff’s Top 10 Most Wanted Criminals in Hiding were recently taken into custody. 

Fugitive Gilbert Gonzalez Salinas, 54, was found Wednesday in Mexico by the County Apprehension Team Tracking Criminals in Hiding (CATTCH). 

Fugitive Reynaldo Valle Hernandez, 43, was caught Saturday in Wisconsin by the Chilton Police Department. Officers had responded to a domestic dispute at an apartment complex and identified Hernandez as being the primary suspect. They found him hiding in a closet and he was taken into custody after a brief struggle. 

Hernandez is being held at the Calumet County Jail while waiting to be extradited back to California. 
- Salinas was wanted for failing to register as a sex offender and domestic violence. He is known to frequent the Terra Bella area.
- Hernandez was wanted for domestic violence, being a felon in possession of firearms and failing to appear in court after he was released on bail. He is from the Earlimart area.
