Anyone regularly conducting business for profit in California under a name different from their legal business name must file a Fictitious Business Name Statement within 40 days of starting operations.
To file your Fictitious Business Name Statement or make changes to your FBN by mail, download and complete the applicable form linked below.
- Please include with your application a check or money order made payable to the Tulare County Assessor/Clerk-Recorder (Please do not submit cash with orders requested by mail).
