|
Documents that have transfer tax, and any connected documents, the recording fee will be $14.00 for the first page of each document.

|
Documentary transfer Tax of $0.55 per $500 of value(or a fraction thereof).

Preliminary Change of Ownership Report (PCOR)
|
$20.00 will be charged if the Preliminary Change of Ownership Report (PCOR) does not accompany a document evidencing a change in ownership. All other documents do not require a PCOR.

Survey Monument Fee
|
$10.00 charge on all deeds. Exempt: Deeds conveying lots created by recorded tract maps, quitclaim, easement, mineral and corrected deeds.

Multiple Titles
|
$21.00 for each title if two or more documents are incorporated in one document. For example, “Request for Notice” in the body of “Trust Deed” a “Substitution of Trustee” with a Reconveyance.

Judgments or Liens
|
“Notification Fee” of $13.00 may be charged for each debtor or debtor’s attorney to be notified of an involuntary lien or judgment recorded affecting debtor’s real property in addition to the recording fee. This fee is discretionary and may not apply to your situation.

Release of Liens
|
$20.00 for any release of lien executed by the county, city, state or any municipality, district, or other political subdivision.

Penalty Print
|
$1.00 extra for each page upon which penalty type appears (more than 22 characters to an inch).

|
$21.00 flat fee for 1 to 2 pages of standard California form. $31.00 flat fee for 3 or more pages of standard California form.

Homes and Jobs Act (SB2)
|
Additional Recording Fee - Homes and Jobs Act (SB2) pursuant to California Government Code 27388.1, (Senate Bill 2), commencing January 1, 2018, and except as provided in paragraph (2), in addition to any other recording fees specified in this code, a fee of $75.00 shall be paid at the time of recording of every real estate instrument, paper, or notice required or permitted by law to be recorded, except those expressly exempted from payment of recording fees, per each single transaction per parcel of real property. The fee imposed by this section shall not exceed $225.00.
An additional $75.00 recording fee for Homes and Jobs Act shall not be imposed on any of the following documents:

Any real estate instrument, paper, or notice recorded in connection with a transfer subject to the imposition of a documentary transfer tax as defined in section 11911 of the Revenue and Taxation Code.

Any real estate instrument, paper, or notice recorded in connection with a transfer of real property that is a residential dwelling to an owner-occupier.

Any real estate instrument, paper, or notice executed or recorded by the federal government in accordance with the Uniform Federal Lien Registration Act (Title 7, commencing with section 2100 of part 4 of the Code of Civil Procedure).

Any real estate instrument, paper, or notice executed or recorded by the state or any county, municipality, or other political subdivision of the state.

Any real estate instrument, paper, or notice executed or recorded to remove a restrictive covenant that is in violation of section 12955.
