Public Advisory: Speed Limit Changes Across Tulare County Starting March 1, 2025

The Signs Team alongside Supervisor Eddie Valero.

In an effort to enhance roadway safety for drivers and pedestrians, the Tulare County Board of Supervisors approved an ordinance to decrease speed limits in various areas throughout the county. These decreases, recommended by the Tulare County Resource Management Agency (RMA), aim to improve traffic flow and safety in both residential and rural areas.

The Tulare County RMA began updating all speed limit signage in affected areas to reflect the new regulations as of March 1, 2025. Motorists are urged to observe the updated speed limits to enhance roadway safety for all residents and visitors.

Two Google Maps have been created to help visualize the upcoming changes.
