The Taco Trail has been blazing through Tulare County this summer, making way for delicious recipes and bold, authentic flavors. Although the fun seems to have just begun, the Tulare County Taco Trail is coming to an end, with the hopes of making an even stronger impact in the years to come.
Over the past few months, taco lovers from near and far explored the county one bite at a time, visiting mom-and-pop taquerias, family-run food trucks, and hidden gems that have been serving up local favorites for generations. From classic carne asada to sizzling carnitas, each stop on the trail highlighted the culinary diversity and cultural richness that defines Tulare County.
The Taco Trail not only celebrated the region’s vibrant food scene but also served as a boost for small businesses. Throughout the campaign, residents and visitors alike engaged with the trail through digital maps, giveaways, and featured stops on Discover Tulare County’s Instagram. The trail became more than a food experience, it became a celebration of community, culture, and local pride.
As the Taco Trail comes to a close, the excitement it generated continues to sizzle. We are set to announce the winners of this year’s grand prizes in the next newsletter. In August, we will be giving away five Discover backpacks that are filled to the brim with local goodies. Not only that, plans are already underway to grow the campaign in future years, with new features, expanded participation, and even more opportunities to support local businesses.
Whether you hit every stop or only made it to a few, thank you for being part of the journey. Until next time, keep exploring, and keep eating local.
