Outdoor Water Conservation

On May 17, 2016 the County of Tulare established a Staged Water Conservation Program, which can be found in Chapter 9 of Part VIII of the Ordinance Code of Tulare County. This ordinance currently applies to County operated Zone of Benefit water system in Delft Colony. The ordinance was developed in response to the severe drought and to comply with requirements and recommendations in state regulations, including CCR § 865(g).

Upon adopting the Staged Water Conservation Program, the Board of Supervisors set the Water Conservation Stage at Stage 3 for the County operated Zone of Benefit water system in Delft Colony.  These are mandatory compliance measures and requires all persons using County potable water to observe the conservation measures.
