MARCH 10, 5:00pm update: Tulare County road crews are working very hard to alert the public to dangerous road conditions. However, we are experiencing unprecedented flooding and sign resources are limited. Roads crews cannot sign every flooded roadway at this time. Please travel with extreme caution and beware of rapidly changing conditions. Water may be deeper than it appears, creating a serious hazard for drivers throughout the County.

State Route 190 is Closed at Balch Park rd to Camp Nelson Road. Check Caltrans site for further details.
Due to Caltrans closure of SR 190 between Springville and Ponderosa, Tulare County will work to clear and temporarily open the Western Divide (M50 and M107) between CA Hot Springs and Ponderosa. This road is not plowed at night and may be closed during storms. Chains may be required at any time.
Please note that due to forecasted weather patterns, it is likely that access to Ponderosa may again be further limited. Plan accordingly, and limit all trips to those that are only absolutely necessary.
All the following roads are closed until further notice:
Avenue 322 between Road 204 and SR-245 will be closed on February 27, 2023 through March 13, 2023.
Road 164 (Farmersville Blvd) at Avenue 296 (Mineral King) to Avenue 295 (Noble Avenue).
Avenue 128 between Road 208 and Road 216 will be closed to through traffic starting Tuesday January 24, 2023. The closure is being implemented as a result of the Friant-Kern Canal Realignment Project. Closure will remain in place for approximately 5 months. A detour will be provided for the duration of the closure.
Avenue 96 between Road 208 and Road 224 will be closed to through traffic. The closure is being implemented as a result of the Friant-Kern Canal Realignment Project. Closure started on Monday (2/6/23) and will remain in place for approximately 5 months.
Road 208 between Avenue 88 Avenue 96 will be closed to through traffic starting tomorrow (3/8/2023) and will remain in place for approximately 5 months. The closure is being implemented as a result of the Friant-Kern Canal Realignment Project.
