14-Year-Old Visalia Boy Arrested for Threatening Classmates

On 12/6/21, TCSO Deputies were called to Sycamore Valley Charter Academy in Visalia for a 14-year-old boy who threatened to kill two other students last Friday. 

Because of the threats, one of the students didn’t go to school. A teacher became aware of the threats and law enforcement was contacted. 

School officials told Deputies that the 14-year-old had made statements in the past about having guns and weapons at home. 

Detectives responded and served a warrant at the teen’s home and found no firearms or weapons. He was booked into the Juvenile Detention Facility facing charges of Making Criminal Threats.
