32-Year-Old Man Shoots & Kills Father, Leads Deputies on a Chase, Then Takes His Own Life

Just before 6:15 tonight, TCSO Deputies were called to a home in the 1100 block of East Naranjo in Woodlake for a shooting.

 

When they arrived, they found a man in his 60s, who had been shot to death. 

 

Through their investigation, Detectives learned the suspect was the victim’s 32-year-old son, Arnold

Martin. 

 

Witnesses provided Detectives with a description of Arnold and his car, and they were able to track him down. Arnold then led TCSO Deputies on a chase that ended near the Kaweah Recreation Boat Ramp. That’s where Arnold shot and killed himself.


 

The victim has been identified as 62-year-old Abel Martin.
