Just after 8:00 a.m this morning, TCSO Deputies were called to Sierra View Hospital in the City of Porterville, for a report of an assault with a deadly weapon. Deputies found the assault had occured in the 17000 Block of Orange Belt Drive, in the County area of Porterville. 

Detectives were called to the scene of the incident and an investigation was conducted. During the course of the investigation, Eddie Murillo was identified as the suspect who committed the assault.
